Artist's Description
Beach chairs and umbrellas sit on a mostly empty beach on Ocracoke Island as Hurricane Henri rages offshore closing the beach for swimming. But you can dream even if swimming is off the table. And Ocracoke is my personal favorite place to dream.
About Liz Albro

A scientist learning to embrace herself as an artist. Behind my lens, I slow down and frame the world. Living and working in the DC metro area, it is easy to speed through my day. With my camera in hand, I pause, compose, recompose, and capture the details and wonders of our daily lives. My photography is embedded in the DMV, but extends beyond the mid-Atlantic as I travel around the world. The images that I love the most feature the green spaces of our world, whether in our secret garden or along a shoreline or in cities across the globe. I am thrilled to share my passion with you and hope you will join me on my visual journey.
