Artist's Description
Hiking up to the Mary's Rock Summit, you walk under this beautifully shaped branch thats eems to know humans want to walk underneath. I felt like I was in a Tolkien movie and expected this amazing Ent of a tree to start a conversation with me.
About Liz Albro
A scientist learning to embrace herself as an artist. Behind my lens, I slow down and frame the world. Living and working in the DC metro area, it is easy to speed through my day. With my camera in hand, I pause, compose, recompose, and capture the details and wonders of our daily lives. My photography is embedded in the DMV, but extends beyond the mid-Atlantic as I travel around the world. The images that I love the most feature the green spaces of our world, whether in our secret garden or along a shoreline or in cities across the globe. I am thrilled to share my passion with you and hope you will join me on my visual journey.
