A favorite scene from Ocracoke Beach, looking through the sea grass at the vast, ever changeable Atlantic Ocean. A part of the Cape Hatteras National Seashore, Ocracoke Island includes more than 15 miles of undeveloped seashore. Accessible only by ferry, Ocracoke is our favorite place to go when we want to step away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
