Description
The Japanese cherry trees that ring the Tidal Basin in Washingon DC are righly famous. They draw tourists from around the globe and drive the locals a bit crazy. I am lucky enough to work within walking distance from the Tidal Basin, and every year capture something a bit different. This shot uses a Lensbaby Velvet 56 to capture a dreamy feel of the emerging blossoms against the spring greens of the water.
