On the campus of Shrine Mont there is this wonderful tiny home. This image captures it in the early morning and invites the viewer to step inside for a cup of coffee.
Shrine Mont is a retreat and conference center owned by the Episcopal Diocese of Virginia in the town of Orkney Springs, Virginia which is located at the foot of Great North Mountain in the Shenandoah Valley and at the edge of the George Washington National Forest.
A scientist learning to embrace herself as an artist. Behind my lens, I slow down and frame the world. Living and working in the DC metro area, it is easy to speed through my day. With my camera in hand, I pause, compose, recompose, and capture the details and wonders of our daily lives. My photography is embedded in the DMV, but extends beyond the mid-Atlantic as I travel around the world. The images that I love the most feature the green spaces of our world, whether in our secret garden or along a shoreline or in cities across the globe. I am thrilled to share my passion with you and hope you will join me on my visual journey.
